Hello Petroni Vineyards,
Well Drinda thank you so much for the wonderful weekend! Bob and I
brought 3 friends on Saturday to your winery for a private tasting.
Elizabeth is wonderful, ourselves and our friends could not stop talking
about the whole process. The moment we pulled up (which was on our
motorcycles), we had to undo ourselves... use the bathroom and fix our
hair... your lovely Sauvignon Blanc was soon poured for use as she
showed us the grounds. (Which by the way are beautiful... we wished it
wasn't so far away for our friends and family to drive, as Bob and I are
celebrating our recent marriage vows and having a ceremony/party in
May...) Next thing you know we were sitting at a table watching
Elizabeth fill beautiful bowls with your olives, prosciutto, olive oil,
and french bread... Oh my gosh and then the lovely wine followed...
finishing with my dream wine... the Poggio Alla Pietra!!!.. All this on
a beautiful sunny Saturday, outdoors overlooking the Sonoma Valley..
WOW! Our friends were impressed. In fact, they joined your wine club
that day, we brought home a Sauvignon Blanc, when we don't even drink
white wine... but it was so delicious. We sent a thank you card to
Elizabeth too. We most certainly will be returning soon with more
friends in the very near future.

I want to thank your wine club director, Drinda, for allowing my wife and I to experience a wine tasting with Petroni's winemaker Martin last week at the vineyard. Your staff arranged a tasting for us and it was one of the best experiences, if not the best, of our week in Napa/Sonoma. Martin did an outstanding job of educating us on wine making and your wine is excellent. Thank you again and please pass on our thanks to Martin for the experience. Your wine is fabulous! My husband and I went to the North Beach Restaurant on a first date 5 years ago. They happened to be pouring samples of the Poggio Alla Pietra Brunello di Sonoma and we were lucky enough to taste it. It has since become our MOST favorite wine that we have ever had in our lives. We really enjoy it. Also, thank you for the recommendation on the 2004 Sangiovese. We received our order yesterday and drank a bottle of it last night. It really is tasty. And to fill your head one more time, your olive oil is the best oil I have EVER had in my life! I am a fanatic when it comes to olive oil, and this truely is the best. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for a wonderful visit today. This was by far the most
interesting and entertaining and enjoyable part of our entire trip to wine
country. The beauty and great wine and olive oil took us back to our 4
years of living in Italy. Thanks for a great day and we look forward to
repeat visits and the wine club joy in the mail.
